So far, tumors analyzed in previous studies were mostly < 3cm with difficult withdraw specimen. To describe laser resection bladder step-by-step demonstrate feasibility procedure even for large throughout a series cases. It is also discussed quality histopathological analysis. METHODS: A 8 cases designed be pilot randomized controlled trial comparing Holmium Tumor (HoLRBT) progress was analyzed. perioperative data 1-year outcomes assessed analysis after morcellation evaluated terms histology, grade, stage. entire one case shown video. RESULTS: mean follow-up 12.6 months. age 59,6 (42-85) years, size 4.7 (4-8) cm. There 2 non-muscle invasive cancer (NMIBC), 4 muscle-invasive (MIBC), 1 paraganglioma, adenocarcinoma. confirmed presence detrusor muscle layer accurate diagnosis staging all (100%). no Clavien-Dindo > complications, blood transfusion, perforations. histopathology reveals excellent samples without fulguration or artifacts. CONCLUSIONS: holmium followed feasible procedure. متن کاملHolmium laser enucleation versus transurethral resection of the prostate.
INTRODUCTION This was a prospective, randomized clinical trial to compare the safety, efficacy, and medium-term durability of holmium laser enucleation of the prostate (HoLEP) combined with mechanical morcellation versus standard transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP) for the surgical treatment of patients with bladder outlet obstruction due to benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). The pa...
متن کاملTransmyocardial holmium laser revascularization: feasibility of a thoracoscopic approach.
OBJECTIVE Creation of transmyocardial channels from the epicardium to the left ventricular cavity with the use of a laser is a modern approach in the treatment of patients with chronic ischemic heart disease unsuitable for coronary angioplasty or bypass grafting. We present the results of transmyocardial laser revascularization (TMLR) with a holmium laser as sole therapy in 22 patients operated...
